Looking for good beginners cues for my 2 kids

Hello fellow AZer's, I have 2 wonderful kids that I am getting into pool.

I am looking for a couple of cues that can with stand the hands of a teenager and a soon to be 10 yr. old.

I am not looking for handouts, I am looking for inexpensive cues. I understand I could go to ebay and find something but would rather have a cue that's already broke in.

I have other cues here at home that I could hand down, but cringe at the site of my 9 yr old beating my Schon LTD against the table.

If anyone has a cue in the rack at home or an extra cue that they don't use, I could sure put it to good use.

Just PM me what you have and go from there I guess.

This is not another "cues for kids scam", and don't want it to go there.

PS I also have a used Schon ST-13 that could be used a barter tool if need be.

Hey buddy, I got these cues from a new maker that would be great for your teenager and at the same time can support this maker's new work.

Here are the two I PM'd you about. $200 for both in a new quality cordura covered fur lined soft case. One Mali, one unknown but, it is an overlay cue that hits as sweet as any cue I own and I own a few. The Mali weighs 18.5 oz, the pointed cue is 19.5 oz. 13mm shafts. Excellent condition.

I have a nice no name 57 incher I just got . I will sell it for 90.00. It's not new but is a great hitter. Could be a Helmstetter or adams. It's a solid palmwood butt and has a really nice shaft. I can send pics tomorrow if you are interested.

nice cue for a starter

Five to choose from. 235.00 per cue. All joss. Some old, some new. All straight together and apart. Very good deal.

I've got a one-year old Player's HXTE10 ($152 new at Seyberts). Willing to sell it for around $115. Couple of nicks but nothing that a teenager wouldn't put in it with about 3 hours of use  Completely straight; lots of tip left (only shaped it once).

I also have a Players HXT70 - the butt is pink & black (if one of the kids is a girl, she'll love it like I did). It's got a Kamui soft tip on it and I played with it for about a year before I got bit by the cue buying bug. I think it retails now for around $130 - $150 depending on the tip, but I'd let it go for $100.

I've never sold on here, but I have feedback as a seller elsewhere.

Just pick 2 of these out new...max price $85 per cue. Nice looking, some to pick from, and they play decent, especially for young players. I used to sell the heck out of those 3 wrapless models at the pool room around Christmas time each year.
