I am curious as to what any one thinks of the playability and hit of a Lambros cue, with the "Ultra Joint"? Are his cues holding there value, are they easy to resell, ect... any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks Steve

Great engineering, great cue, great joint. And they have no problem sellingi n the secondary market, so if that's an indicatork, value holding isn't an issue.

There will always be an issue with a special joint in terms of aftermarket shafts. Schuler, Lambros, Layani, for example, are just going to be a little tougher to fit an aftermarket.

How often do you see a Lambros for sale? Greg at BW sells them as fast as they get in. They are a great cue.

Some people call it inventing Lambro's (are we talking about a concaved semi circle joint.) Copying or adopting, Metal lathes have used the half-circle washer for yrs and yrs. The First one I saw was in 97 and haven't seen 2 in the midwest since.(lambros cue that is) mark

If they are so great why is everyone who owns one selling them??

The original joints he used were as you describe. The newer ones are flat rimed... still with the snug deep pilot.

Lambros builds a great hitting cue, no doubt about that. But they are too stiff for me. And I vowed long ago never to buy another cue with a non standard joint. I want he option to going to just about any cuemaker and having shafts made.

I know someone who just got a new one direct from Mike and is looking to sell it. PM if interested.
