Looking for Kersenbrock cue for playing

I haven't owned this cue forever so at somepoint I spose it may have been replaced, but not by me.

It was definately replaced...I'd bet high..you could win the Varney Empire...LOL!!!
Seriously look at the color tones of the natural linen, compare joint to butt...dead giveaway.;) I know batches are often darker/lighter, I deal with this everyday...but those are years apart.

Edited to add: Look at the one on the link you provided. It at least has the correct bumper. The SW type bumper requires a .615 compression fit hole.....the one in your picture has a bumper that requires a .330 threaded hole...so some work has been done there at some point.;)

yup...i've never seen an sw with a threaded bumper. sw is quirky about some things,,,,one being they will never stray from certain signature looks. this buttplate is rounded. and while linen batches may vary, i've never seen unmatched linen on the same cue unless a new shaft is being made.

a kersh with not all original parts.....

Well, I guess that just means i get to keep my kersenbrock. I didn't really want to sell it anyway. New Pin, new Wrap and supposedly new butt plate tho i am not sure about that (I showed it to the second owner and he recognized it right away).

I am not sure why its such a bad thing to have it fixed properly by SW Cues, and I am not sure how a pin and maybe a new butt plate make it "At this point this more like a SW than Kersenbrock". You pool cue snobs need to go into a room and play with each others sticks cuz you wont be playing with mine.

Hey Vass,

I do have one but it's fancy. I bought it from Japan. Check out my website. Or email Y.Y. Wu. He got a bunch of them. Seriously, why do you want a 6 pt dpk? It's no difference than a SW.

Oh no ... only way I will part with my 80s DPK, '91 and & '96 SW is if Chady (or others) who wants to do a deal for one of his Franklin era fancy SW.

Vass - Omega/dpk

I have an awesome Omega/dpk.

I recommend you consider that. It looks great and plays as good as any top cue.

I really hate, kersenbrock inlays, they look like $hit to me. Another possible is Ed Young. I understand that Kersenbrock is doing ALOT of the work.

purely a matter of establishing value my friend, and no slight intended about your cue. an original with original parts is simply more valuable. as a product, i would snap up your cue in a heartbeat if i needed one. as a collectable, i would think twice and three times.
