Jennie, are ya'll
driving to Vegas?!?!?
Yep, all 2,428.78 miles of it, which according to Mapquest will take 36 hours and 10 minutes.
If you lived in D.C. and typed as much stuff as I have about terrorism, flying on an airplane isn't very attractive, at least for me, in the year 2006. So I'm going to keep my feet on the ground for as long as I can. Plus, I think it's going to be kind of fun!
Thanks for all the GREAT responses on Denver. I think that's where we're going to spend a day or two before Vegas, hoping to get a few good days of practice in. Paradise Billiards looks GREAT.
Doug, Keith would definitely be up for hitting 'em with you, and, Regis, I'll be checking out Melody's patty melts.
We're leaving tomorrow and will be stopping in several cities en route to Vegas so that Keith can get a little practice in along the way, as opposed to driving 10-hour days and having no practice. According to the map, it looks as if the big cities we'll be traveling through will be Indianapolis; Lincoln, Nebraska; and then Denver. Hopefully, we will arrive in Vegas a day or two early, as the players' meeting begins at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday the 22nd.
Vegas or bust, here I come!
