A friend has asked me to try to locate a Skip Weston cue in good playing condition and 2 shafts for $1200.00 or less. He would prefer a phenolic joint but steel would also be considered. Please PM with description or send photos if you have one available.
Thanks, barryc

I would say that he should pay $500 more and buy this heavenly piece from a very nice guy.

...but if he really wants to spend <$1200 then I'd recommend this one.

Good luck with your search.

If your friend can wait a little bit I have a brand new cue coming directly from Skip. It has four rosewood points/veneers, rosewood butt sleeve, white delrin butt cap, white with green speck linen wrap, buska ring above the wrap, 5/16x14 piloted stainless steel joint, stitch rings at the joint, two shafts with ivory ferrules. The cue is being delivered as I write this and will be for sale on January 4th at $1500. A real classic cue. The cue will be in brand new unplayed condition.
