Hey guys, thought I would see if anyone here has some Ideas first before he goes online to buy something. Doesn't need to be anything crazy just a good starter cue for a beginning player l. Looking to spend between 100-200 shipped to PA.

What does everyone have ?

I have 2 cues that have a roll in the butt. One is an 8 pointer fact 2nd that looks like a predator and the other is a custom with really nice points and ringwork.

Text me and I'll text you pics.

I've got a great "starter" kit for your friend (actually they'd still be my main players except I discovered that I preferred wrapless cues).

Both cues are perfectly straight, lots of tip left. They both have small nicks in the butt sleeve. Also include joint protectors for the HXTE10, moosehead bridge and new Masters Blue Chalk.

Here's what I've got for sale:

Player's HXTE10 $153 at Seybert's. I'd take $110 plus shipping http://www.seyberts.com/products/Pure_X_by_Players_HXTE10_Pool_Cue-102578-10161.html

Player's JB5 jump-break cue $89 at Seybert's plus $25 for the upgraded Samarsa tip (instead of standard phenolic). I'd take $75. http://www.seyberts.com/products/Players_S_PJB5_Pool_Cue-101118-332.html

Buy both and I'll throw in the 2x2 case. http://www.seyberts.com/products/Black_2x2_Lined_Hard_Pool_Cue_Case-103998-208.html

Probably run about $200 for everything including shipping in CON US.

I sell the best for less....

LOL...well you can just come to my house and try some out. I have over 100 cues from $35 on up.

Lucasi

Love the Lucasi sneaky as well. Still play mine from time to time. Have a new one sitting here if interested. Mine were hand picked with some great Birdseye maple.

You would be hard pressed to do better than a made in the USA (Wisconsin to be exact) Schmelke cue.

they def have models in the $150 price range.

I believe their site is www.schmelkecue.com

if that link doesn't work, just google schmelke cues and you'll find them.

great quality and hit, cheap as dirt, made in USA :thumbup::cool:

GL

EDIT: Just looked at their site - they currently have a rosewood 4 point for $100.

best,

Here's an oddball but very cool cue that's completely playable. It's an old vintage Brunswick with the Dufferin reverse aluminum joint. You'll be very surprised at the hit. 18oz as it's stamped, all very straight too. I use it once in a while just for kicks. It hasn't been refinished but looks great with the orange peeled finish (not chipping at all either).

Just throwing out a different idea...

$125 shipped.
