ready to play any and all who are willing to give up the nuts. Please do not apply if you have a history of outrunning the nuts.Cliffis no longer available he outran while giving me 4 hit and the pick,Richy also is barred giving me 3 hit and the pick,Billy is also barred as he made me think I had the nuts when in fact he did,Jeremy is also barred for only giving me 2 hit when I needed 4,Come to think of it I'm not sure what the nuts are when playing top players, perhaps something is wrong with my judgement or pool cue,it tends not to shoot as good when I am playing high and every railbird in Dallas is betting on the other guy.

willing to try one more time.

IS there any sure way to know if you have the nuts before you play, afterwards I always know because they tell me I woulldn't have won unless I had the nuts

When you are playing a TOP player your spot usually doesn't matter unless you are getting the breaks and any ball pocketed counts as a win. JMHO.

I'll take the break, ball in hand after the break, and 5 - out wild from anyone in the world. That just might be the nuts.

I only play one pocket and always get the break, which is why I asked about the break shot last week.I really do play though and I don't ask for crazy spots.

BE careful- you can get beat by the set at that game!

I promise you - if anyone in the world wants to give me (at 9 ball) - all the breaks, cueball in hand after every break anywhere on the table (make sure I'm detailed), and the wild 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 (meaning if they go on the break, early combinations, etc it is a win for me) I will play.

You drive a hard bargain...but since I want to play...

Post up- you got action from me on that game.

Of course, I have some stipulations as well. Race to 1, I get 1000:1 on the money.
Practice up! :o :D

i would too, i have been getting drilled hard by a super strong player and i have watched who i have lost and what i needed to level it out, that would work, its the 5 ball ghost with traffic, i can handle that

The Nuts

Well it seems by now you have figured out the truth of it. Let me say this whenever playing any of the above champions you are at an extreme disadvantage. The spot is almost a non factor. I say this because for one they plan on running out on you until they get tough and then lay down a safety. Also theres not many that are going to give you a spot they feel they can't win at.

To add to that, since they play beeter than you, they likely know more than you, thus they know better how to get the edge on you.

Trust me, if anyone wants to give me that spot they can win $5000. I'm not wealthy and work hard for my money, and I bet my own - but anyone can have a shot at $5000 if they wanted to give me that spot. I'm not woofing or trash talking -- I'm just stating that I would send it in if I can get beat by anyone with that spot.

A. I break pretty good (and I'll have every break)

B. I get cue ball in hand after every break (that means even if it scratches I get ball in hand --- so I can just blast the rack for a good spread and not worry about cueball control.

C. I'm very knowledgeable on safeties, and kicks myself....so if I don't have a shot on the one - I'll have ball in hand on the one (or lowest numbered ball) to play a lock-up safe. They dog it, I run out to the closest money ball I have left on the table. Or while playing a safe - send the object ball near one of my money balls for a chance at a combination after getting ball in hand.

D. The balls spread right, and I might have a combination chance on 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9 that I can set up with ball in hand right after the break.

The chances for winning with this spot are just endless.

Honestly, I mean --- you don't have to be a champion to essentially run out sets with a spot like that. That is just a ridiculous spot that I would never expect to get --- but since the topic of this thread was the NUTS....that is the stone, cold, dead, nuts.

Even if your opponent racks for you, but as a rule you can't check the racks? Would you still take it? LOL

You have to play by some semblance of the rules...and that means when you scratch, your turn is ended...PERIOD! B-I-H after the break would not apply if you scratched.

Oh no....ball in hand after the break, means ball in hand after the break - regardless of what happens. We are talking dead-nuts here (lets review the subject).
