I found out today that I lost a friend and pool buddy of mine.
For anyone that knew Greg Strickland of Dothan Al I am very sad to report his passing. He had several nicknames mostly all with "pizza" in them as he worked for Dominos for years and years.
Greg was a true friend of mine and fellow forum member "sizl". All three of us ran together, partied together and gambled together. I am still in shock of losing a 41 year old true friend.
He was a good player that would send it in whenever he could. He liked pool and action no matter what it was. I am sure someone has already been asked for a "little action" on the other side.
I will miss my buddy and will regret forever that I didnt keep in touch nearly as much as possible since I moved to SoCal.
Greg was the type of guy that woudl be right beside you after the dust settled and ready to go back if you needed him to. Once I called him and told him I needed some help. It was 2am and I was about 110 miles for Dothan. He was asleep and simply said " okay I'll be there, stay put". About 2 hours later he and another friend show up.
Pick up the phone, email someone, text them or send a letter but dont let friends and family go to long.

BTW-- If anyone will see Monroe Jones that runs with Woody W I think please let him know. He also was good friends and another of our "gang".
