Actually, Marcus pretty much summed it up. Thanks for the compliment about the blanks, we are proud of them. The only thing we can add is that we are going to be making some cues with 5/16 14 soon, as an alternative. Thanks again for all the interest.

IMHO the 5/16 14 pin might open a can of worms down the road...

Hi-Michael, I was looking at your cues and didn't see it on competition sports site but seen it here where it seems there is a insignia on the cue that says carolina , cuemaster98 put it in with his pictures in this thread, is that your insignia, logo? on the cue or is that a sticker?

A lot of our cues are similiar to Tascarella's in that they are splices with 4 veneers, but that makes them also similiar to about just about everybody. We are trying to make some bushka style cues, who hasn't? We were not in any way trying to mimic Pete's work. We even make our own blanks. Just wanted to clear that up from our end.

In my opinion. you guys should have left the buttcap plain and hand signed the Carolina in the forearm..

a signed cue looks great but imo an engraved cap can even look better.

Well, all that I can say is that I'm looking forward to getting some with the phenolic collar with the splice points blanks. The 5/16-14 joint pin will definitely complement the phenolic collar and it would play great IMO.

Pics Of The 4 Point 4 Veneer I Had

THIS WAS A VERY NICE CUE, FOR BEING ONE OF THE FIRST ONES FINISHED. ENJOY THE PICS.

SKINS,

Nicely embellished----your designs??

yes. thanks for the good words. they're really simple designs but they fit well with the billiard cues. they took some examples to the Sang Lee tounament and they were received well.

carolina cues service

the guys at carolina cues redid finish and wrap on my cue recently; great job! there was a very, very small bit of a bubble in the original finish. i frankly hesitated to give up the cue because i thought the cue was very much acceptable as it was!
since they were confident they could take care of the small glitch in the finish i said go ahead. they did my cue great. they also put a smooth, brown leather wrap on it that is just great. happy experience on my end even though i did let them know i was very happy with the cue already.
i just want to point out they wanted to improve the already high quality of the cues finish! i understand they did get some different finish system components. these guys are making some fine cues and i look forward to letting more of my money setting in some leather case somewhere! lol thanks, guys!
