Hey guys I need your help in finding someone who will build me a plain Jane cue with ivory joint and ferrul shaft without costing tons of money and I know ivory is high but surly someone can build a good soild cue with ivory that's affordable I love the game but have never played with ivory so drop me a PM if you know someone who can help thanks god bless
 
Monroe Jones can build u a great solid hitting cue an he only builds plain Jane. He prefer to put ivory on all of his joints an u can decide wat wood u would like. Cues range from 350 to 450 depending on the ring work u want
 
Tacio Bautista from the Philippines is a great cue maker , I have one of his cues as well as a few friends of me .
He uses ivory all the time and his prices are more than reasonable , for around 350 you can have one shipped to your door .
For the shipping and for customs you need to mention it's not ivory but ivorene and all is well .

Im pretty sure the U.S. customs agents can tell the difference between ivory and ivorine. I could be wrong though.

i have a beautiful Tim Scruggs cue with ivory joint and ferrules posted in the for sale forum that you should check out.
 
here's a nice ivory joint joe callaluca cue that is priced very reasonably. eight east indian rosewood points (no veneers), four high and four low, with ivoey spears on the four high points, ivory ring at joint collars, and an ivory joint with a brass radial pin. the butt is east indian rosewood with an ivory hoppe ring and a black leather wrap. one shaft is 3.5oz and 12.6mm and the other is 3.4oz and 12.7mm, both have ivory ferrules and triangle tips. the cue is like new and priced at $800 shipped in the con-us.

Allen Green out of Houston makes a great cue on a good budget and uses ivory. Love mine.

Wow!!
$800 for that cue is ridiculous...what a give-away.

Joe C's cues play great, too. I know because I played with one for over 5 years until Cory Barnhart made me my current player.

Unless he has picked up produciton, Joe builds less than 12 cues per year. Guy should know as he is close to Joe.
