Whats funny about your bullshit, is that slate isn't even ground to those tolerances, so there's no way on earth you can level it to those tolerances, but it would be entertaining to sit back and watch you fail!!!No just on the method, I can pass after your final job and put 4 supports spacer on slate close to corner table and see you the reality of the job, my level can read end to end of table at .0005

I love Einstein. he was innovator, not a little follower like you, you can continue your baby crisis alone.Pick out 2 Diamond tables in your area, when you have them picked out, let me know.
I hope you know you can't level a Diamond table without the rails mounted first....Einstein! That means cloth installed as well!!!
The real dirty secret is that the Dr. Pepper is the level, no need for Starrette when the doctor is by your side! This is the slates on a 6'×12' snooker table. In that picture, there's 3 of the 5 pieces of slate put together, can you see the 3 pieces? Took 2 days to level this table out
When setting up GC1'S like that one, don't use the slate screws on the ends of the slate unless its crowned. Leave them out, because it's more than likely low in the middle, and when trying to shim the middle up, all you're doing is raising the middle between the slate screws, and not the full width from side to side. What no pictures?View attachment 600679
Is that because the GC1s used BrunstoneWhen setting up GC1'S like that one, don't use the slate screws on the ends of the slate unless its crowned.
