Consider the flip side of this regarding the weaker players: I have a Delta-13 Elite rack, however, there are a lot of weaker players that I know of who are incapable of racking a tight rack even when using a Delta-13.I have been using the Magic rack for several months now. And, I take it every week to the local weekly tournament. The response has been 90% positive on it. The ones that don't like it are the better players. When asked why they don't want to use it, their response is "you make a ball everytime on the break". I then point out that every ball is frozen, and they like to claim that they give good racks. So, they should have no problem with it. They then state that the 9 usually doesn't move. I then state that it shouldn't if the rack is tight. They then say "well, I just don't like it".
Basically, the better players like to put a rack on the lesser players, and they can't do it with this rack. They just won't admit to it.One player in particular, is known for his opponents not being able to make a ball on his racks. When they rack their own, you will see the 9 head for the corner almost every rack.

I just ordered one from Seyberts and I can't wait to try it out, based on the consensus on this thread. What's the best way to store the rack though? A good local player said he used one while he was in Florida a few weeks ago and that once it was bent a little it was hard to get the rack back to it's original shape. How true is this?
Thanks for the input. I figured the player I mentioned probably didn't use the rack enough and might have been misinformed, hence his statement. How do you store your racks when you take them somewhere?I've had my 9, 10, and 15 ball MR's outside on a very hot screened patio in Tampa, FL all last summer and they are still outside today and in good shape. I use 2 of them everyday. Johnnyt

Do the generation 2 racks cost more than the gen 1's did? Johnnyt
I ordered from Seybert's a couple months ago. Received the gen 2 - black with blue film - two 9/10 ball racks for $10.
