Maker of this Brunswick Cue

Falcon and Joss made cues for Brunswick.
The ones made by Joss have Joss on the butt cap so I'm thinking this cue is a Falcon.

Also, some of the one's by Joss had a 5/16x13 joint screw.
Yes. Never been chalked. Thought it might be an investment, I think I was wrong.

The biggest clue against that is that it is a pool cue. Even balabuskas wouldn't have been a great investment. $100 in coke or McDonald's in 1970 would keep pace with balabuskas of the sale vintage.
Ouch.
I bought a 95-10 Joss retail back then. A little fancier then cue posted. Paid about 400.00 Back then I wanted a Meucci, Joss and Schon and I would be done.

High-quality collectibles are often a great store of value, i.e., their expected selling price increases and keeps pace with inflation. Most collectables, however, do not increase in value, i.e., their expected increase in price over time does not outpace inflation.
About the only times a cue can be considered an investment, is if one can consistently purchase at wholesale and sell at retail, or if the cue is used to reliably and consistently make money at the table, and the amount of that won money is greater than the player could have earned in the same amount of hours in some other vocation for which they are qualified.
