Man Beaten And Robbed Over Pool Game

His face was blurred but by the looks of it he had a body by meth. I feel bad for that dude though,he kinda got roughed up a bit.

Yea, this probably had nothing to do with the pool game. Although, an environment like that brings these kinds of people together. Saw the same kind of things happen around me a zillion times in the places I used to go.

Note the balls were half in the rack and something set the big guy off. The hispanic guy seals the exit route a/o, sensing the skinny guy might bolt. The big guy moves in. My bet, not pre planned. Not a huge crowd and more action and opportunity elsewhere. The skinny white guy wanted out quitting a winner and that did not sit well. The rest plays out. The $300, who knows how much he really had. Could have been what the big guy was stuck? This is not in anyway meant to condone the felon attack, nor the cward cheap shot by the third guy. Only to address the flashpoint of hostilities. BTW, I am no liberal, Conservative all the way, but we need the facts, something does not pass the whiff test here. How many of us today would go in that joint alone, to play strangers?

Kids first mistake: being in that bar. 2nd: dont put down your cue. pool balls and pool cues would be flyin at those punks.

He didn't put his cue down. One of the robbers took his cue before the other guy hit him.

It was planned and it wasn't the first time those guys have robbed someone.

We will never know what happened.

There won't be any further facts published. The article was CRAP. Just like every other interet article. They let anyone write now. Barely any of the: "who, what, where, when, why, and how" are followed in today's internet journalism. I was taught that in 4th grade. There won't be a followup story either. Just the way the internet works now. Bullsh!t stories just to get hits to a website for ad revenue. Stories are full of grammatical errors, and don't even get to the bottom of the issue, or even attempt to.

I didn't see them go through his pockets. I'm wondering if the robbery happened after he followed them and was possibly off camera. I too doubt he had $300 on him.

It appears the big guy grabbed something out of his hand,(perhaps the money) and then reached for the ball. He would not follow 3 guys after a beating unless they had something. The suspects should be easy to identify by their descriptions in the articles, which fits like 40% of males in Philly.

Thank you. I was totally wrong.

It looks to me like black guy took his money first, then he grabbed a pool ball and told white guy to empty his pockets on the table. White guy then pulled out a flip phone and flipped it open and that is when black guy knocked it out of his hands and as white guy went to pick it up that is when black guy attacked. They then started to leave and white guy goes to pick it up again and blue shirt then hits him, then the first black guy comes back and kicks the phone back to his friends and blue shirt picks it up.

Philthydelphia has many pool rooms that aren't safe to be in.

Edit that to Philthydelphia has many neighborhoods that aren't safe to be in. Lot's of scumbags roaming the streets..... streets that use to be safe & a decent place to live.
