Just wanted to post a link to Heath Mannings tip install video. He's done maintenance on my cues for years and provides an excellent service and also sells all sorts of billiard related equipment. Check him out, located in St.Thomas ON Canada

Manning is an excellent business man. He took the time from his vacation to respond to my questions a while back. I purchased a Longoni shaft through him since he is a north American Longoni dealer and will be ordering again for a backup. The deal and transaction was smooth as can be. I would recommend him a thousand times over.

THNAK YOU Heath Manning at Manning Cues

Interesting to have finally found any commentary on Heath Manning. I have never purchased equipment from him but did initially spend at least six months watching his training videos (of which there are many) and incorporated many of them into my training regiment. I would have to say that the bulk of my skill set has come from his teachings. He is the first to admit that many of the techniques he demonstrates were not created by him but only taught and shown by him. His is an exemplary teacher; clear, consistent, humble and dedicated to pool.
Over the past year, and solely because of the material found on Mr. Manning's web site, I have learned almost all of the things that I could never do before, consistently, on the pool table: one, two and three rail kicking with confidence, long and short rail banking with confidence, spinning off the rail (perpendicular) to an exact location, follow to an exact location, draw to an exact location (hard), high jumps, long jumps, etc.. Manning's videos are mostly in HD and the production value is very high. One of my favorite videos that made me look at pool differently, specifically competition, is called "winning vs. losing." It's the chill pill of perspective i needed to be able to calm myself down when competing and not get nervous. The video's effect maps over my entire game.
Give his site a whirl if you get a chance,

THANK YOU HEATH MANNING!

For you newbies like myself who are not afraid to pick up a book, I also recommend the following:

Byrne's Standard Book of Pool and Billiards, Robert Byrne

If you treat it like a text book, you will find that it is quite intense and learn volumes.

A few days ago j_zippel came by my shop for a new Zan Soft tip and told me that he made a post on AZ forum's about my business. So, I came on tonight to have a look and look what I have found!

"John Zippel, Cardigan Kid & Odysseus"

You have made my day and I can only say thank you for your comments, support and review.
The only thing I love more in the world than pool is my family and to read your comments is a bit overwhelming.
It's not often that I take the time to reflect on my past as I'm always trying to build and grow my business and future.
Thank you all for making me feel appreciated, warm and fuzzy :)

I take genuine pride in my customer service, quality of work and products I sell.
I deal with every customer directly, produce my own videos and want all of my viewers and customer to be treated with respect as I would want to be treated.

Keep enjoying the game guys and let me know if you need anything in the future.

Thank you so much :)

Don't mean to bring this back from the dead, but it was the only thread I could find on manning cues. Are they still in business? I ordered a cue from there today, but since I have never heard of them before I looked them up on fb. Noticed they haven't posted anything since last year, so I was wondering if anyone could let me kno if they r still alive and kicking or not. Thanks. I noticed he posted right before me lol

Twas a good video Heath. I have never minded when a repairman or maker takes the time out of their day to post a Help Video.

Wish there were more of them out there.
