I just saw the Manny Pacquiao threads today. It made me think. I know he loves playing pool and has even been rumored to play for money. For those on the know, what is Pacquiao's speed in pool? Thanks in advance.:)

He plays for major money.
Gave a Japanese C player the 5 and won big.
Played a Japanese girl and got beat.

That's true. Pacquiao is a good pool player. In 2004 he made it to the last 8 in the Philippine Open.
 
so he's a fighter & pool player in the same time? I didn't know that a guy can be pro in 2 games at once.

That's true Jay. Manny made it to the quarterfinals and lost to Gandy Valle, 9 games to 4.

So who laid down for him? I've seen about a zillion guys in Manila that can give him serious weight. You and I both know that. But they wouldn't want to make him mad either. He has the fastest fists I ever saw.

Seriously, I have no basis if most of his opponents that he beat took a "dive"
or not, but I know that playing in a tournament atmosphere is different from
playing for the dough. Anything can happen in 9 balls, specially if you're
playing a world boxing champion, the pockets seems a little bit tighter on
your side and I'm sure the woofing is non-existent!
