Marboys/Kyle Amoroto Annoucement

I watched the first few minutes and there wasn't much there. It sounded like an opening for a holier than thou diatribe. If the thread title can be trusted, I'll give high marks to Marboys for any steps taken to protect the game's integrity, but there aren't many facts provided in the early part of the speech, and no way will I watch a 37-minute YouTube to find out the details.

Looks like Kyle Amoroto was involved in fixing matches and he was payed to do this. Seems to be lots of proof via messages between Kyle and another party and backing from other team Marboy players.

These Marboys guys are drama queens. That's all I've gotten out of seeing their company name the past year or two on random FB posts/advertisements.

Yeah the spokes guy finally dropped the fixing word.

The Olympic Committee convenes to review pool (they got anything else to do?)
Let's see, two parties must demonstrate sufficient funding whereupon they commence trying to take it from each other.
Um, tabled for cornholing.
Again...

Evidence must have been strong given the fallout with sponsors as well. The public shaming is pretty epic.

Drama is apparently Kyle bet on himself to win this exhibition match against Bernie.

Bernie "testified" that Kyle asked him to lose the match when Bernie was leading towards end.
(Strangely after that Bernie made some bad shots and lost the match.)
Appears that Bernie's witness testimony was key to fire Kyle. Marboys manager/boss also mentioned testimony by Roda that Kyle lost a match to Roda and still gave money to Roda.
Smoke and mirrors common in such pool drama. Don't be surprised if more than one party is "guilty" :ROFLMAO:

Bernie couldn't concentrate because Kyle kept bugging him. Bernie then told their manager.
Bernie's clean. If he was part of it, Kyle wouldn't have needed to keep bugging him during the match.
What's sad about this is the Marboys owner negotiated for Kyle's sponsorship even though he already had a shady past. He assured the sponsors that was behind him.
As good.of a player Kyle is, I don't think it's a huge loss.
Bernie, AJ and Jeffrey Roda are headed for greatness.

I hope he quits pool and never picks up a cue ever again. Funny how people's opinions differ, isn't it?

even my opinion differs from what i wrote tbh. i was thinking kyle was just 18 yo. apparently he's 22. i also didn't know he was bullying young bernie to take a dive. can't write that off as error of youth. he's obviously an idiot.
