I'd like to start a thread to see how some of the Mark Bear blank conversions have turned out! I've seen some recent ones from Calaluca, Baxter, and Dunkel, would love to see other conversions!

surely someone can compete with my Tibbitts conversion? or not :)
 
Here's two that Joe Callaluca converted for me, both great playing cues.

I was also able to receive the cue, not the blank, that Mark Bear was building for me when he died, with the help of Mark's friend, Lee Bledsoe. It was almost finished when he died, and is now being finished by, and is in the hands of, Steve Klapp. Looking forward to it, it may be Mark's last work.

Here is my break cue converted by Mr. Michael Webb!

African Blackwood into Curly Maple.









 
I was the original owner but it has since been passed along. It's the Purpleheart/BEM cue with the ivory joint.
