Mark passed away yesterday afternoon after a lengthy battle with cancer. More info is available in the main forum.

I remember when Mark bought his first lathe from me. He was selling insurance at the time and really did not expect to do much cue work. But the bug bit him hard (like it has many of us) and he went on to be one of the best Full-Splice makers out there. He was super nice and his passing seems way too soon for a young man like himself. I believe if he had stayed around his name would have been mentioned along side Burton Spain, Joel Hercek, John Davis and others when the history of full splice cues gets talked about. I guess it might anyway. RIP my friend!
