Any AZ'ers dealing With Danny M Rochester Jr (Mark) From Gaffney Sc. Beware Becouse his word is dog poo ! I had a firm agreement with him on buying his cue .
I was going to get it after the cue maker made repair on a lifting point .
I sell one of my cues at a loss to cover his asking price he knows this becouse I offerd the cue to him first.
He sells the cue back to the cue maker for a more than his asking price to me and leaves me stuck holding the bag also at a loss on one of my cues !
Haven't heard from him in over a week and the cue is now in the hands of the cue maker and is for sale ...
At this time I'm leaving the cue makers name out of it . I don't think he knew of Mark's sale to me .. Mark Rochester will never get another Cash or cue deal from me ! You only get one of these with me and I'm done .This is my first negitive post about anybody and I hope it's the last !!

There's no fight here. Just facts !
1 Tues 3/20 he sells me the cue with the understanding cue maker would fix blemish in cue. I sell one of my cues at a $300.00 loss to help cover cost of his cue. I've told him I had to do this in order to have his money. Gives me his word the cue is mine !!
2 Fri 3/23 I call him and he say's point was popping and ringtail wrap had to be removed cue should be done by 3/30
3 Fri 3/30 I call him he dosn't return my call
4 Sat 3/31 I see him at Shannon's event and he says cue makers not done with cue . He'll call me when he's done . Again he tells me soon as cue makers done with cue "The cue is mine" ( At this point to my understanding he's already sold the cue to the cue maker)!!
5 Mon 4/2 I get word the cue is for sale at cue makers . I call and still no return call from Mark. He dosn't answer cell phone. (Again) I leave message to call me and I've yet to hear from him.
Today I start this thread and contacted cue maker about this thread and gave him the link and my phone #.
I try to treat folks the way I want to be treated .
When I get screwed I let it be known and maybe the next person will be able to avoid this happening to them ....
The amount I agreed to pay was Mark's asking price !! I guess what he wanted wasn't good enough.....

I just went to get some popcorn to watch this unfold myself. I know I've been given "time off" for this same thing! *already munching*

If he dose I don't know his forum name . I do know folks that know him that are forum members. Even still there's no defence that could be made on this one ! I hope he dose post to this !!

You are off base bring this to this board. Talk to Mark and work it out.
You should have handled it differently.
 
i think the whole point was he tried to talk to mark to work it out. he clearly states that he's tried calling him numerous times and left messages with no reply.
 
This is Mike Gulyassy at Babys Pro Shop LLC. Mark gave me the cue back to look at for some finish problems which I am in the process of completing. I do not own Mark's cue or have offered to buy it. Get your story strait! Mark said something about selling the cue to somebody in town. All I know that Mark has been playing with my cues for the last 8 years or so and I think he is a honorable person. I think Mark deserves an apology for this.
 
Well I just got off the phone with Mark . Word got to him about this thread. Needless to say he's not a happy camper .
Mike G. I PMed you about this thread and left you my number yesterday morning . You got on the forum at 2:17 PM yesterday. Why didn’t you contact me or post then ?
I expected you to try to get this straightened out I didn't expect you to run damage control !
So you didn't have the cue for sale at your shop for $4500.00

You know after Talking to Mark and Reading Mike's post I no longer feel the need to carry this further.
It's pretty easy to see where it's headed !
Facts are facts and I'm not going to keep bantering back and forth about who did or didn't do what.
I will say this I stand firm in my opinion. I'm easy to get a hold of my name number and e-mail are plastered all over this forum .
Dave or Chuck feel free to kill this thread
