Mark Tad

Hung out with Mark Tad for a little while last night. He was looking forward to the DCC and had only nice things to say about Mr. Helfert.

Very nice guy and hits them a ton. Can't wait to see how well he shows at the DCC after his strong performance at the Reno Open. It would be great for pool in SLC to have Mark back at the table full time.

Ask him if how he likes his new Starkey cue. He was pretty thrilled to get it in his hands in Vegas.

New Cue

I did notice he wasn't using one of his usual one-piece cues like at the Utah Open. He was talking to a friend of mine about his new cue and he seemed to be pretty impressed with it. Pretty sweet looking cue, but with Mark's stroke I think he could run out with a broomstick.

Good luck to Mark at the DCC. Unfortunate to hear he won't be in any side games, but I am still hoping for him to do well in the tournaments.
