Kudos on the smooth run !

Alright i couldnt wait any longer..... I am happy to see that billy is up to his old tricks, and still hitting them Pro Speed !!

Bill's pattern recognition hasnt missed a step, it seems like automatic pilot !

he got in trouble a few times, but always seemed to get out of it. i wouldnt expect any less from Marop.

Thanks so much for posting this, and i look forward to seeing more runs as always from Bill !

i thought that Marop bought a hippie van and left for haight ashbury. 40 years late but better than never....
 
I hope Bill knows how nicely he plays. I am especially impressed with his ability to keep the balls mostly in the lower half of the table. This is not easy, but it makes the patterns so much cleaner.

I really enjoy watching Bill.

Nice run, I enjoyed that.

Question about the last break ball. I am guessing the idea was to have an angle on the 6 to back into the rack. Would punching that ball a little harder be an almost guaranteed scratch? a bit more force and the ball would deflect and probably hit the next ball up flush. Too much of a risk going into the corner?

Watched some of his other vids. Lots of high runs. He does not seem to even think much about it, kind of plays by instinct. I'm curious what the pocket spread on his table is.

That's a good praise. Every top straight pool player looks like that at the table. But behind what looks easy is a lot of decision making and execution. Proper thinking multiplied by perfect stroke (which even John himself Schmidt is occasionally jealous of ;))

Bill told me yesterday he had another 80, but then he told me it was a "Sascha" 80.

Who knows what that is??;)
 
a "would have been an 80" if he hadn't missed at 31.

he referred to it as a "Sascha 80" so I knew at once what he meant.

I had a "Sascha 105" the other day... I missed at 57 - swiped the 6 ball off the table, and then I ran 48 more. I proudly gazed over at my two dachshunds... from under the table they were staring at me in awe of what they had just witnessed... I took a deep breath, sighed, and finally said... "There... a 105 finally played the way it should be."

Haven't had time to watch this one yet, but I guess I can add it to my giant video collection that I have stored in a folder that is appropriately named "Things Billy Does Right".

That is so funny b/c I had swiped the 12 ball off the table today........
I also had one heck of a run counting that 12 ball............
