Masse Shatft?

Has to do w/ balance point: when shooting, regular pool shaft is abooooot 6cm above table, while a masse shaft is aboooot 3- 100 cm above.

Aww sheeeat. I was born under the sign of the cock. The difference is mainly length (shorter) and taper (usually none/ conical).

Pardon my dickiness.:p ;) :o

Also, the ferrule is generally shorter than one would find on a regular cue.

If you doing a standard Masse - Nothing!!! If you want Mass Masse Then thickness of Shaft dia. 14mm and short shaft length 22". But then there the weight [24 oz ^^^^^]of the butt for strenght. Ferrule 3/4" or 1/2''. Then there the tip. Do a Az's search.

The masse shafts I have from Crown Cues are shorter and thicker, both at the tip (usually 14mm) and the joint. I had one specially made to fit my regular playing cue, that has a standard 13mm tip, but is just shorter (21 inches). The taper is stiffer and one of my shafts has a brass ferrule too.
