Master mech at work at the Pred event now

I refused to work on the Kim Steel tables when they manufacturered them, then eventually they all fell out of the market place. Now here's another table I've put put on my black list, along with their cloth, won't work on these table either, for no amount of money, they're junk, and will end up as recycled aluminum, just like the Kim Steels.

Built in Spain, NOT China.
Sh8. You would have flown to Spain easily . Great food there . And a nice country .
Much easier language to understand .
More lipsticking a pig here .
Maybe large wedges would help the next time . lol

I told everyone this table was junk before it ever landed on American soil, I also told everyone Predator don't know shit about designing a movable pool table, NONE of the manufacturers do, and that includes BRUNSWICK!!!! Diamond is all the proof I need to show i KNEW what I was doing when I designed the 9ft FIRST to be a movable table, before I turned my focuse on their 7fts next!!!! I'm NOT an engineer, but I KNOW what I'm doing, and no ENGINEER is going to design a movable 9ft pool table if they have no idea what they're in for!! I was flipping up and moving my 9ft King Cobra coin operated pool tables around and I stalling them in bars in Washington state BEFORE Diamond ever had a Smart table!!!!!

I've been in the coin operated pool table business longer than Diamond has, by 5 years. I started out manufacturing home style pool tables in 1983, 5 years before Diamond attempted to build their FIRST Professional 9ft!

Name ONE single table mechanic with more accross the board experience than I have, and that includes ERNESTO! And yes, I've also owned 3 pool rooms, biggest with 37 pool tables!

Trust me, when I call a pool table junk, its because it IS Junk, and Predator is not alone, throw in Rasson and Gabriels on that list too!!!!

It still boggles me Pred would spend all that kind of money on marketing and promotion and skimp on R&D and consultation.
They should have flown an experienced master mech to China in designing that table .

You and I have vastly different opinions of predator if this surprises you.

They are a marketing company. Period.

Well, looks like Diamond offered Pred to make their tables and Pred went out and got their tables made somewhere else .
And they tried to copy Diamond's design and failed badly .

Who would want to work with EITHER OF THOSE GUYS RUNNIN DIAMOND: GREG OR CHAD??? I would have done the same thing. They would be the last people on EARTH I would work with to develop anew product, I would rather WHITTLE pool tables by hand than sell their brand.

The only way for Predator to do actual R&D is get out there and figure out what works and what doesn't. I dont like what they are trying to do brand wise, but, thats none of my business. On the other hand, while all these fools are trying to RUIN pool, Predator is trying to make it into a REAL SPORT by investing REAL MONEY, not like Diamond, who likes to sponsor questionable events and illegal gambling. I have no idea how they stay in business, they surely cant make enough tables and there are 3 other manufacturers now DIRECTLY competing with them and I feel like most of them are doin a FAR better job failing, than they do SUCCEEDING.. Just my $0.02

Well, they'r e consulting with Ernesto now .
They better be redesigning that frame for next year .

I've set up every US tourney for Predator, except for Vegas. We have been making changes since Arizona last year. Covid caused many issues. But for gen. 1.5 it's not too bad for the tournament tables. The 3 piece slate tables I have had zero issues with.

There has been a lot of things I have read that has made me LOL! But coping Diamond takes the cake.

Wasn't those 3 piece slates that were crowned in the first Arizona event, and didn't Ernesto have to drill them in the centers of the slates to pull the crowns down? Didn't he have to slide penny's under the rails to lift the nose height up so the balls would stop jumping off the rails? Did you set them up as well?

Do you have pictures of Ernesto drilling the slates down? If not, would you like some? No problems with the 3 piece slates? What do you call it when they have to be drilled in the centers to pull the crown down, normal?
