I respect that. It just never worked well for me 99% of the time. I’ve used it when that’s all there was. It’s far from the worst chalk ever
I discovered I have no real preference... Bought triangle decades ago and it works fine. Bought some V10 as a lark a couple of weeks ago and haven't dropped a set since so it's obviously better.
I'll use whatever doesn't have ahole drilled in it. Except that real pasty stuff that makes a horrible mess of everything

Nobody uses it, loads of data now on kicks virtually gone.
2 players use Triangle chalk, still get kicks.
So yeah, its old school chalk.
Some people will keep using it no matter what.

Do you apply chalk with an ice cream scoop? I don't understand why this is such a problem for you, but I'm glad you found a solution for your own issues
Well that’s subjective.
I love all the cues I own not just because of how they play, but because of who made them, & how they were made.

But last night I used a house cue for breaking and as usual, I could see the house chalk dust particulate flying around during swipe chalking.
For me, a chunk of v10 cost no more than a good burger combo. Except the burger is gone after 15 minutes of eating.
