Great thread, hope this one lasts.

My Tim Scruggs Rambow-like cue, and a Rolex Seadweller to go with it.

All the best,
WW

I like this thread already! Nice collection you have going there!

I love watches too, though these days I only have a Sinn 556 I'm planning to add a Rolex next year just not sure what model yet. In the past iv had various Omega, a couple Rolex, and a Panerai.

What watch would be a good match for my Runde? Maybe the 116710LN...the green GMT hand would match my green veneers.

Which brings up another question....do you wear your watch while you shoot?

I've always taken mine off and set it on a table. No biggie with my Sinn but not sure I'd be comfortable leaving a Rolex sitting around like that while y attention is elsewhere.

My watches have been put away for years. Sadly, I am not sure at the moment where they are. The last time we moved (last March), I did come across my pen collection, but not my watches.

I don't have anything so impressive anyway. My favorite is a 17 jewel Le Jour "pilot" chronograph from about 1982.

For many years I wore a watch religiously, this was something I learned from my father. I always had a watch and a pen. Because he did. And I generally carried a fountain pen.

With the advent of the smartphone I gravitated away from that. I haven't carried a pen nor worn a watch for years. But if I get "dressed up" I do. I have an Yve St Laurent watch that I kept out of storage for that purpose. It's an OK watch and a nice piece of jewelry.

As far as shooting pool, I always removed my watch and rings. Same with shooting firearms.

.

Along with wearing a watch everyday I also use a fountain pen at work every day. Partly because I like them and partly because I have trouble reading my own handwriting if I use anything else.

I'm waiting for someone to post the Patek/8 point Gus 500K combo. Indulge me!
