Really a nice warmup for many of the hopefuls at the upcoming UK Open. Very solid field that, in the late rounds, should prepare some of the game's stars for the very stiff test that will come next week in London.

Just learned that Snooker Champs Gary Wilson and David Lilley are on the player roster, gearing up for the UK Open, where they will also be competing on the Nineball Tour. I had not realized that Gary Wilson competed in last year's UK Open until I read it this morning.

Gary goes up against Ralf Souquet on Saturday, and David Lilley will have his hands full with Naoyuki Oi later today.

Gary Wilson, who recently married last year, won the Scottish Open this past snooker season, and I'm delighted to see him in the UK Open to see what he's got. The 37-year-old's nickname is The Tynestown Terror.

David Lilley is same age as Ronnie O'Sullivan, 47, and he turned pro in 2019 after 30 years as an amateur.

LOL, yes he is like Maurice of Bee Gees. I am guessing being youngest and biggest, his role is mainly Team Kos cameraman, bag carrier, bouncer, supporter since he usually does not get to final days 😄 Would be good result for him if he gets to last 8 in this event

He must have gotten more of his Mom's genes, while Pin Yi and Ping Chung got more of Dad's genes. Dad was a professional player. IMO:)
