I watched a Darts event in london a few months ago. The crowd was nuts. Like an NFL game. I couldn't help but be drawn into watching by all the excitement.
 
People having fun and it's made the top players millionaires, I love watching the world darts every year.

Except it's colder, the walk from the train to Ally Pally is up a steep hill and people go to be a part of it.
Holds 5,000 during the darts.

It's madness- went to darts there after Mosconi Cup in 2012 with Brandon Shuff, among others. We sat away from the maddening crowds in VIP alongside the "Walk-On" Platform with 4 producers for ITV, (X-Factor and Britains' Got Talent) and people who work on betting algorithms thanks to Barry Hearn.

Of course I filmed it for "Raising the Hustler"

Thats why fans enjoy watching darts more than pool - its all about entertainment :) Me personally I wouldnt mind playing pool in these conditions, I would LOVE that!!! Instead we are used to playing in church-like silence, not much fun from fan perspective. You can figure why Mosconi Cup has the most intense atmosphere of all the tournaments through the year...
