I had a thread closed to any new posts. I am not sure why or what I did wrong on it. This is the first time this has happened to me. I tried to search out the info in the FAQ and other posts. Could any of you more experienced AZ people tell me why? Is it because I listed my email address? It is closed, but still viewable.....thanks for the help and if I make anyone mad who thinks Ii need to look for the answer myself, I am sorry for taking your time......thanks

I just looked at all the threads you've started and didn't see it. I don't have answer for you, sorry.

Perhaps because you are running a business without paying for advertising?

He has other for sale threads that have not been locked. Lots of people seem to be running, or attempting to run, businesses through this forum. So, I would say that isn't a likely reason.

I did see that you were bumping your thread every few hours which is frowned upon. The generally accepted frequency for bumping a thread in Wanted/For Sale section is twice per day, max.

I would have expected a warning be given before locking your thread, though, if that was the reason.

You could always pm Mr. Wilson for a clarification on why your thread was locked.

The final post was curious - that poster said he saw one of your cues at a shop and he asked if the ringwork was done with a marker, and also that it was not drawn on straight. Can you respond to that?

I have seen your posts and, to be honest, I thought you were offering great deals on very nice looking cues. And I also recall someone posting a review after receiving one of your cues and they liked it a lot.

Best,
Brian kc

When you choose to do business on a public forum, you sometimes have to take the good with the bad. Since it was you that started this thread, I'd like for you to respond to the last post on the thread that was CLOSED.

I don't like posts like that. I wasn't going to get into any kind of crossfire. All I can say about a comment like that is I have NEVER used marker for rings! As with most cues, at times over the years I have had some overlays. Short of that, I don't know if someone bought a cue without rings wanted some, and added there own. I don't even know what cue this is or how old. Not much more can be said. Thanks

It was closed

At one time it was closed for some reason. It has since apparantly been reopened.
