Well the way i read it, The deal between Keith and Billy was made Sunday after they were told there were no checks.I must be reading it wrong because there is no way anyone with any world/pool experience would still think getting paid was a lock at that point which is what Billy must have felt to make that deal.

Jam stated in her post that if the players were never paid, then there was an understanding--Too bad for Cardona. And he accepted that.. Also I think that Incardona made it past the first round, so he is due a 5k check and a larger one too...............
 
I wonder if Jam and Keith have reservations for Chicago?

Surely the answer to that question will speak volumes to everyone.

Why? It isn't hard to get last minute reservations for a motel in the greater Chicago area on short notice that time of year...And it isn't hard to cancel one if you have it. No need to pre-pay either.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if they were planning to drive since it's a relatively short drive.

I think all it would do is provide fodder for the drama and rumor-mongering that is going on....so I don't think it will speak volumes. I think it will speak a little and EVERYONE ELSE will speak volumes about it.

I don't usually get into the middle of these disputes, but I will here. I don't know Jam personally, but thru friends and contacts in the pool world. I have been around Keith more than a few times and although we're not personal friends, we have several mutual friends. I know what some people think about Keith because of his hustler background. I had a similar opinion when I first met him. A very close friend of mine had a very high opinion of him as a friend. Based on that, I'll bet that Billy gets paid his money whether Keith ever gets his check or not from the IPT.
I don't think Jam was bragging about screwing Billy on the deal. I didn't get that idea from her post at all.

OH, AND BY THE WAY JAM, WELCOME BACK. Although I haven't been posting much the last few months, I have stopped by to read some things. Don't let anyone get to you enough to quit visiting and posting here. I'm happy to hear you and Keith are OK. I had a few people asking if I knew what happened to you 2. Sam
