Has anyone noticed the price increase of McDaniel Cues lately. I've seen several go for significantly higher prices than in the past. They have always been great cues. They seem to be extremely popular at the moment. Every cue I get in stock is being bought immediately. Is there anything going on that I should be aware of?????

Bill is officially 100% retired.
The good news is that he has blessed the pool community with his craftmanship for many years.
The bad news is that he sold his equipment, wood, and his cue names/logos.
So we will soon have Bill-era McDaniels cues, and other McDaniels cues.
I did not know that Ernie bought his equipment. Sounds kinda wierd to me. Can anyone verify this??

To me the joke was a answer to this question:
Who is making them now?
Ernie Gutierrez.
Meaning Ernie is still and one of many still making cues. The question being a question refering to McDaniel but the answer could be for cues in general and also for the reason that McDaniel's cues are raising in price.
I know a few years ago you couldn't "give" away a McDaniel's cue. The market sure is strange. No one thought much of his cues and now they are a hot commodity. I guess I better load up on Meucci's.
