McDaniel Mac attack Sneaky FS only

So I tried being nice. Seller never sent me return postage as promised on 4/26. He never gave me an explaination either.

At this point I have stopped payment with my credit card company. He can chase me for awhile.

Think this member has other cues for sale here. I would caution anyone because the obly thing he described correctly about this cue was that it was a cue. His customer service sucks.

Now I bought a predator butt from him not to long ago. With no issues; I think you are jumping the gun a bit. He's an older gentleman, with a delayed response. If your time was so critical; why didn't you offer to pay for an escrow service or have the cue overnighted in the first place? Give yourself a bigger window to file a chargeback.

This guy is nothing but a "charge back" happy buyer. He waited few days. SO what? Must be desperate for money or something.
Now, the question is - since he did a charge back, will he do the right thing and return the cue back to seller?
But I suspect, we will hear lots of nagging about "Why should I pay for shipping when it is not my fault? When he sends me money, I will ship the cue back". That type of thing you know.
When you are in a rush to do a charge back regardless of what the real situation is, nothing good should be expected from this kind of people.
Have buyer tried calling and talking to seller? have buyer tried to resolve this? How long has it been since the first threat? 3 days? Oh yeah, buyer waited long enough for sure!

Saturday he promised to pay for return shipping. 4 days ago. You bet I aint paying for his return shippng of his attempt at dumping a 12mm, warped, non-ebony POS in my lap.

So if you think Im wrong just front me 465 plus 20 shipping and I will send the cue to you. Then you can return it, keep it or do whatever you like.
 
The seller is obligated to handle this issue not me. Hes a young kid, not old as stated above. I did call and text him about the return. We made an agreement and he has reneged on that. I wont be one of the guys worried about getting robbed here. Paypal with a credit card...everytime.

why not just return the cue and if upon him receiving it back, if he doesn't refund you, *then* do a chargeback?

I sure wouldn't be real happy if things were as misrepresented as you say but returning the cue if not satisfied is a must, imo.

Buyer is so predictable. I bet, now he is going to play "Why should I pay for shipping" card. Even though his credit card reimburse him for full price including shipping.
By the way, he sent me 2 pictures of the cue. To me it looked like 2 different cues. In fact, one looked like ebony and the other one looked like PH.
So, it not confirmed that buyer is telling the truth.

Thats the light effecting the way the cue looks, happens to me all the time and thats why out of 20 or 30 pictures I may use 3 or 4....but im no professional cameraman. I really cant believe im even posting this because its exactly what everyone including myself have said a million times about threads like this that no longer have anything wanted or for sale keeping legitimate threads down. This happens so much that these incidents should be in a totally separate area, maybe start up a "conference pm" option where all the parties and people who want to moderate these types of things that have no involvement in them can chat with each other. Actually, how about the main forum that way a lot more people would see it who could interject their opinion as well. Who knows that might be the best way seeing how some of them never frequent the WFS area and would have a totally bias opinion?

So, the cue is obviously rough, beat up, and has the wrong shaft (skinny & crooked at that). If the butt rolls straight, I am a buyer, but at a price that is commensurate with all the issues. Whoever the owner of this cue actually is now, please contact me via PM.

AZ is a joke it's a Mcdaniel shaft I thought it was ebony my fault ..He got his money back I agreed to take the cue back I'll get it refinished and sell it ..The cue rolled straight here on a lathe and table it is 12 at the very tip it's a very strong tapper I haven't been on for a few days and this happens ....Where's my cue being shipped back .? I have no idea
and for the joint problem I told him I did not think it was ivory so there was no deception there..

The buttcap looks to have chips or finish issues at the botton edge. It could just be the photo. Can you please just send me sone clear pictures of the butt cap?

The ferrule is 100% ivory but the joint might not be that's just what someone said to me cue is straight apart and together
The buttcap is just clear chipped and like I said there are dings but nothing deep

my local cuemaker says the shaft is exceptional tight grain....I am actually getting it refinished myself right now ...I edited the post as not available now and im getting the ivory ferrule replaced the one on it had a tiny crack that my local cue maker found ....so after its re cleared and a new ferrule I will let you know but it will be a little more after I get everything all done...I am also adding a brand new 314-2 with it

Cue described as ebony, it is not. It is coccobolo.

Cue shaft described as 12.6mm and straight. It is 12mm and significantly warped.

I requested a very reasonable 40 dollar credit.

If you want to accept return then refund me, send me postage and your address.

f you will not grant that then i will initiate a chargeback with my credit card company.

dbldown has requested a $465.00 USD refund. Do you agree to grant this refund and close this dispute?

Regarding OP pics the cue looks ebony to me. I am a photographer and the exposure of his pics looks pretty good. The angle of the light and the angle from where the pic has been taken should be able to provide any grain/color present in the butt wood. As I've seen in one of takeitdown's pics sent to Kot the grain is there and the color as well. Now I can't say for sure but it seems to me that they are 2 different cues so it came to this: either the seller send a diferent cue or the buyer provided pics of another cue. Again it's just an observation....
I know how I felt when I received mispresented cues (most of the time) even from respected sellers around here but I still believe communication is the key to this kind of problems. (For all OP defenders, please read the very first post here...carefully..)
I hope you guys will find a peaceful way to solve this. The s**t hit the fan tho...

So my cue never came back after I accepted his dispute after he did not give me to the day I said I would be able to refund the money back( that was a monday we talked on Friday he disputed Saturday)......And guess what I won the dispute through pay pal ....after all this stink he caused he didnt send my cue back and just kept it .....so was it that terrible..? or was he just saying crazy stuff to get his money back since he bought another one that was in better shape then mine and he was just trying to get money back to use for that purchase


But however it went I won through pay pal so it is what it is

And why should he have returned the cue without his money back?

Seems the purchaser trusted the seller by sending him payment before the cue was sent.

Now buyer wants the money before the cue is returned.

Pretty simple.

What a strange way for this to end after the stink 'takeitdown' made. Sounds like it was a case of buyer's remorse or a failed scam attempt. As I initially said, the buyer could have returned the cue and then initiated the dispute or chargeback. Childish and silly....this whole ordeal.
