Mcreadys Meucci Gambler Pool Cue Stick

Let's get this straight these are the ones you are linking to are the same as these that we agree are a very nice hitting cue for the money. The Hammerhead is not a Palmer Import product I have never seen one so I don't know how they are. They both have the white ring but they are not the same cue. I bet Keith might have even play with one of these great little barbox cues. What do you say Keith I know your good buddy Purcey. RSP pedaled these. Gottem from Palmer. What's up with the Mucci??http://cgi.ebay.com/POOL-CUE-CASE-H...ryZ21212QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

We arrived home early this morning from Valley Forge, and I haven't had the chance to show the pictures of the Meucci cue stick to Keith yet.

If, in fact, this is an older Meucci cue, it may be a great-hitting stick. From what I have been told -- and I am no cue expert by any means -- the OLDER Meucci cue sticks are the BEST.

One distinctive feature about all of Keith's cues is a skinny butt. If Keith did own a custom-made Meucci, it would definitely have a skinny butt and a whole lot of forward balance. I cannot tell by the picture if this one has a skinny butt or not. The description on eBay doesn't provide a whole lot of details, i.e., shaft measurements.

However, I think when Keith does look at the picture, he will be able to recognize immediately if, in fact, this was his cue at one time. So, when he wakes up, I will show it to him and post back.:)

MCREADYS MEUCCI ORIGINAL GAMBLER POOL CUE STICK

This is not my add..... I just made me think about how much should this be worth someday?

You think some Meucci lovers would like this?

Bugs.

Bugs, I remember the Meucci cue very distinctively, the one with cards on it. I had another one with all dice on it too, made by Meucci as well.

It was a good-hitting cue. I sort of still wish I had it. It had a real nice long taper on it, at least it did when I had it. Most Meuccis are forgiving and deflect a little bit, but this one was a stiff-hitting cue, and whoever buys it should like it.

Closing in minutes

Keith Mick Ready cue is closing. Wonder what that cue goes for new? Is that a custom or production model?

well.. that gambler is alittle better then the new version being that one is a meucci orginal.. and is probably real ebony compaired to the new black plastic ones over wood..

also.. the ebony probably goes all the way up through the joint unlike the newer ones..

the fact that it could be one of Keiths cues makes it alittle more desireable for conversation factor and collectables..

i havent seen what the auction is up to since the first time i looked at it.. i will have to check it out after i post this..

sheesh.. 700 bucks! yikes.. i would say the cue's value is so high because it was keiths cue... i would say that particular cue would sell by itself (some other original) would probably only go as high as 400 to 500... i cannot believe they have the reserve as high as it is... wonder what it will finish at?

Meucci Original Gambler cues in mint conditions have been fetching high dollars ... beat up ones were getting $350+ on eBay.

Non "orignial" Gamblers were fetching 400-500, I believe.

There was no reserve!

Rackem, there was a reserve on this item because I read the "Reserve Not Met" line in the eBay listing. They bid this cue up as high as $710, but the seller does not have to sell because, in fact, he did set a reserve. Personally, I think the reserve set was too high. JMHO, FWIW.

I did sell one of Keith's cues on eBay about 3 years ago. It was a Schon, and it went for $650, if memory serves me right. The winning bid was paid promptly, and the gentleman who bought the Schon said that he was going to place it in a case inside his pool room, somewhere in the Chicago locale. He said his pool room had a Gothic theme, but to this day, I do not know which pool room he owned. I also sent him several personally autographed 8-1/2-by-10's of Keith as a bonus for winning the auction.

Of course, to a pool player, if they own a cue which is hitting 'em right, then the cue stick is, in fact, priceless. :p

Nothing New!

This is the 3rd time I have seen it listed. I thought it had sold but maybe I'm wrong? He still has not corrected the spelling of Keith's name.
