Reminder for the new monthly open 9-ball tourney to be held at Champions in Frederick next Saturday Feb. 26th.

Format same as at Big Daddy's- race to 7 winners, 5 losers. Entry $45 starts at noon, practice at 11. Call Champions early to sign up 301-846-0089.
 
Maybe I'll just zip back and forth between matches. I mean, these two places are only about 20 minutes apart!

I'm a little confused. I thought that the Champions in Shirlington, VA (Billy Stephen's place) had the monthly tournament using the same format I created at Big Daddy's in Glen Burnie? That was scheduled for the last Saturday of every month.

Have they agreed to change the venue to the Champions in Frederick?

I can certainly understand if there was confusion here. Today, Saturday, we have a charity event for breast cancer at Champion's in Shirlington. Mike S thought a good weekend for his Champion's in Frederick, our sister store, so he booked this weekend. Yes we like Big Daddy's format, want to keep the momentum going for all competitive pool.

Champion's in Shirlington is next weekend March 5th. Hope to see all at our open 9ball event as well

19 people entered, I was probably the first to be knocked out! Among notable players: McCreesh, Shuff, Tollefson. Sorry, I left so early that I don't know who won.
