Medium or Hard Tip?

I would love some feedback or suggestions on a tip. Have played with Moori Med for a year or so and am switching sticks and was thinking about switching tip also. I have Ted Harris available to me tonight and was thinking of trying a Hard Tip. Any advice or brand recomendations. Thank you in advance.

The new Tiger Emerald tips are great. Not a super hard tip, but also not a medium. I've been playing with one for a few months now and haven't had any mushrooming problems.

BENEFICA can hook you up. They're cheap too....tons of bang for the buck.

I like hard tips personally. Currently shooting with a superpro, but they are not made anymore. Probably switch over to the kaumi hard when I run out of superpro's, or whatever is out there when I finally run out.

The emerald tip is a good medium tip, I had it on my other cue, and it plays very nicely for a medium.

I had a talisman medium before I got the everest. The talisman was way softer than the everest. I guess distinguishing medium from hard may vary from company to company.

Which Brands are softer?

Which brands are softer than others? I'm inclined to try a hard medium or softer hard tip. Something harder than a Moori medium

I prefer Medium tips because I'm able to spin the cue ball a little more. They also give me more confidence with my hard draws.
Try the Super Soft Kamui Blacks. The Super Softs play like mediums. Weird, but true. I love them and don't see changing any time soon.

my advice is trial and error. some tips fit some people's game and they will swear by it til death and others who try it will have it changed out the next day. it's up to you to figure out your style power, finesse, both, trick shot guy or however you play and match it to the tip that works for you. would be nice if they advertised em like this. i use a triangle tip and like how it works for me.

Trying a Wizzard Med.

I had a Wizzard Med put on last night. It seems crisper than a Moori. The shaft was made with Talisman Med and it felt to soft to me. I'll play with this for a while and see how I do. I'm also making a switch from a Predator Z back to a conventional shaft I just had made at the same time. This will be a long month.
