Less than a week to go! YAY :)

I'm going to request that this thread become a sticky. We can use this for all questions regarding the Expo. Eydie is going to have her laptop so we'll be able to check the posts. If anyone has any questions, post 'em here.

There will be two meet & greets on Thur, Fri, & Sat.

The first one will be at the Blue Grotto bar at 4pm until whenever(depends on how many people show up). When you enter the main entrance, on your right is a ticket booth where you purchase the general admission tickets. If you walk around to the back of the booth you'll be in the Scanticon hotel. Go up the stairs and the bar will be right there at the top of the stairs.

We will have some "hello my name is" name tags. No one wants to walk around with that on all day so we'll just use them while at the meet & greet. I'd like to put your screen name on them.

The bar is pretty small so if we end up with a large group, we'll move it to Chumley's (Chumbley's. I can't remember if it has a "B" in it or not). This place is located in the lobby of the Radisson. You'll have to follow the really long hallway over. If you get to the Blue Grotto between 4 & 5 and you don't see anyone there with the name tags on, head over to the Radisson.

The 2nd meet & greet will be at the Fury booth from 7pm until.... We're not sure what time we'll have to close up there. We won't know until we get there. All the booths are supposed to close up at 8. In the past the Fury booth has been allowed to stay open later and I don't really see why they wouldn't allow it this yr. They won't be able to make any sales past 8 so if you want to get something from the Fury booth, you'll have to purchase it before 8.

Bring your cues to the Fury booth! John said that they will have both a 9 ft and a bar box. (John, thank you again for offering to let us meet up & shoot at the booth)

Thur, Fri, & Sat.... The Blue Grotto @ 4pm and the Fury booth @ 7pm

(When you enter the Expo go to the right (not down stairs). Stay to the right following the wall. Towards the end, the walkway will curve a little to the right and the space will open up some. The Fury booth will be located in this area in a corner on the right)

Will be there

Thanks Timberly
I will be there also and i'm looking forward seeing everyone again.

I would like to offer a Fury RP, an NR and a DL cue to the first three finishers of a newsgroup challenge of some sort.

I don't want to organize it or run it - but if any of you all want to take it on to get some of us playing against each other in some form of fun competition then we will donate the first three prizes. I will play if I can but I am not taking any of the prizes. I just want to see if I can kick any of y'all's butts :-))

Hummmmm... Can Bob cash in all his FURY bucks? LOL!

I say we set up some matches for bragging rights on AZB. Who's in? My horse is Bob Romano, anyone else want to challenge?

Great job, I'm sure everyone will have a blast, thanks for all your work.

I'm looking forward to meeting more of the AZ gang, see ya all there!

I think we can do something close to what we did at the DCC..... At whatever time (random, not set) after 7pm we can take all the names of the members currently at the booth and draw 4 names. 8, 9, or 10 ball race to 3 or 4. Last person standing wins the prize.

This would require very little organizing on anyone's part. ;) Game & race to be determined at the time of the drawing. This wouldn't take much time to do & it would give folks a chance to compete against each other.

Good idea John! With the use of the booth and now the donation of prizes.... you've gone above & beyond to enhance our AZB fellowship. Thank you. :)

Can't Wait!!!

Hi Everyone,
I'am looking forward to meeting you all.

The Expo

Hi Timberly,

I'm still recovering from Derby City, looking forward to the expo and to making old and new acquaintances.

Count me in with a name tag, I'll be arriving on Thursday, I'm the old guy with the white hair.

See you all there.

John:)
