Anyways! Now I've noticed a couple things when trying to meet a girl @ a pool hall. Or one who likes to shoot pool. In my town, it seems like any girl who is attractive to average looking gets hit on by every swinging dick in the pool hall.

I usta have a lady friend and when I first met her, she was shooting pool with one of the regulars, and we just started to talk, and thats that, we played pool often just gambling a bit or practicing. We'll what I didnt realize was, she liked to party, and goto parties even without her man. And generally the party revolved around her and the party was in her pants :eek:

Now thats one thing I have noticed, another thing I've noticed is the girls that seem to be pass'd around from guy to guy like a freakin BONG! I've seen so many girls date one guy for a while, then end up with another the next week and so on. ITS LIKE WTF EWWWWWWW
Another thing I've noticed, which I ran into a girl I know and usta talk to a while back, was the girls who change alot, for the worst! Now this girl I'm talking about usta be petite ( size 4 ) and very attractive, well she comes rolling into the pool hall thursday nite and I litterally was like OMFG!!!!!! she had to of gained about 50lbs or more. I couldnt tell where her Chin started and her neck ended.
I know not all girls are like this, but I've always been leary of girls who I meet and they want to start to play pool alot, cuz I work 3rd shift and most people want to stay till close, and obviously, if I dont know what she's doing and stuff, It makes me leary, Cuz I know how pool hall guys are, they'll stick thier winkies into anything with boobs. I've seen it happen ALOT with the people in my town.
But thats my thought on meeting a girl who likes to shoot pool. Obviously if the girl is respectable and respects her body and is a good person then you have nothing to worry about. But thats just my 2cents!

First of all don't ever tell a girl your nick name ..if they see or hear hardluckjones they will run away....there is a song from the 60's "if you wanna be happy for the rest of your life don't make a pretty woman your wife"...what do you mean LESS attractive..how about personality ! love and beauty goes alot deeper than skin deep..USUALLY very attractive women are high maintance ..believe me i know first hand it is no fun with someone like that...find a woman with a beautiful personality forget about the looks...you will be ALOT happier in life then for sure.....good luck ...:)
 
Pool-playing girlfriend is an oxymoron.

You can't properly focus on either your game or your girl and disasters will surely follow.

You ain't going to find a good girl in a pool hall.....You need to go to the library.....or church....they's good gals there. I hear there's some fine ladies at McDowells. in Queens. Just look for the golden arcs. While your there order a Big Mic. It's similar to the Big Mac except no sesame seeds on the bun....
Watch out for Dottie, she can be vicious.

Most guys I know from the poolroom have the same problem if they have a girlfriend or wife.!! My girl was cool for about 3 months then realized I had an addiction to pool!! Now Im lucky to get 2 days in a row in the pool hall a week. But I love her ... What can you do !!

You will see all that your area has to offer of serious women players and you may get lucky. I've never been there (to the pool room in Marietta GA) but check out the last picture in the series and pack your bags. I wonder how many of those gals still play at this pool room. They sure look happy in the pool room.

If you are addicted to pool, like many of us here you should simply abstain from long-term relationships and simply wait for one of the really hot girls to ask you to take her home for the night. Just be patient (maybe once or twice a year), she might just have one of those moments and you could be the lucky guy. Oh yeah, go buy a lottery ticket for you and me.

But seriously, the chances of you finding a mate who will tolerate an addiction to pool for any length of time is slim and none. Good luck. My advice, either seek help with your addiction if you have one or accept the fact that you will be traveling a rocky road for a long time.

The Queen's advice is royal, IMHO.

I found one!

I am very lucky, I met someone who tells me to go and play as much as I want, whenever I want to. We will have our seventh anniversary of being married this coming July. When we first met, on a plane of all places, she did not know anythng about pool playing. Once she found out how much the game meant to me, she encouraged me to play more. She does not play, but never tries to stop me, just tells me to play and enjoy myself. No, she does not have any relatives that you could meet, her only sister is in the Republic of Georgia,where they were born, sorry.

I met my wife in a pool hall and we have been together for 5 years. I am lucky that she is probably more addicted to pool than I am. Anyways, it is possible so keep trying. Good luck.

One of my rules about playing serious pool is not to bring a girfriend to the pool hall but it would be nice to find a girl to hang out with at the pool hall or a local bar with that actually enjoys the game themselves. Verses just sitting around watching me play. I have seen/known guys that have significant others who enjoy the game just as much or more. When asked how they met their wife/gf, they say, not in a pool hall, but happy and lucky as ever. They are rare finds!!

I once met a gal in a pool room, back in the day. Man she was fun. :D But that was back in the peak of my banger era, so we were equally awful at the game. :D

Pool Room in Marietta... oh my yes, there are some hotties that hang out there. I was going there a fair bit a little over a year ago when I was back there for a while (I grew up there, family is still in the area). I recall one amazingly gorgeous asian-descent gal... I also sadly recall the ring on her left hand. :(
 
most of the women ive ever seen at the pool room were butterheads. everything was all right about her but her head. LOL
 
Its tough to meet a girl and balance everything else in my life.

Last 5 girlfriends are all pool players except 1 that was friends with a bunch of pool players. Great women all. Smart, funny, educated, beautiful and as kind as they come. Anyone who says that you can't find these qualities in a female pool player or a woman at a pool function just isn't looking hard enough or wouldn't know a good woman if they met one.
