Megan Minerich Instructional DVD's

Are these any good? Is there somthing better for a novice? I want to buy them for a freind that just started a few months ago. I tried to teach her but, I am no good at teaching stroke mechanics etc... Thanks!

For a beginner, I like Robert Byrne's basic and advanced videos. The new set endorced by Micah Immonen (sp?) is also very good too. It packs in quite a lot for a beginner to absorb, but it's all good info and the new production values are nice to look at. For more advanced players, I like Jimmy Reid's "almost all I know" videos (available on e-Bay). Lastly, Bert Kinister, Joe Tucker, and Bob Henning have some good drills in their videos.

BTW, I've never heard of, nor seen Megan Minerich's videos, and I have seen nearly all of them.

The beginners are the future of the game.

1. Proper spelling is "Mika"

2. Megan Minerich is beautiful (but I haven't seen her videos)

3. Burt Kinister makes excellent videos, full of great information

4. I'm still smarting after losing to Megan 3 or 4 years ago...the girl can PLAY...I'm going to go search for her vids, now that I know they exist.
