Memorable threads here on AZ Billiards?

AZ has a lot of history. There must be some gems!

Which thread do you still remember, for any reason?

idk why but the IPT thread when some players had discovered a loophole in the IPT rules was memorable. turned out that they had forgot the feet touching floor rule, so some players (including at least one who posts on here) started climbing the tables. archer got mad about it iirc.

beefs and scandals seem to stay in memory more than the good things. probably human nature

Various threads on WHPs/Titlists. Or, as WildWing said above, "historical cues". If you are interested in the history of American cue making, this is as good an entry point as there is.

Dating gossip on the internet. I don't know what happen or what I said.

I just hope I am in good standing.

Clearly the “what’s the best tip” and “what cue should I buy” threads are right at the time.

But threads with goats, $hit and cliffs are always good…
I was out walking with my herd of goats when I stepped in a gigantic pile of fresh shit and fell 1000 feet off a cliff.
Your welcome!

I'll nominate the cubc vs. omgwtf saga that culminated in a gourmet serving of humble pie, streamed live.

the latter's blog was not only azb gold, but internet gold. i shared the svb vs dechaine report with my brother, who has no interest in pool, and he was thoroughly amused. i hope it's archived somewhere because the blogposts are gone

It is not a fun read by any stretch of the imagination but might just be the topic on AZ that has touched me the most. Smorgie was one of a kind. Page 13 is devastating.

I vote for one conspicuous ongoing personal journal thread here in the Main Forum, that seems to have only one participant.

Just kidding, that annoyed me seeing it every day so I had to block him.

Easily the JB $10,000 one pocket challenge with Lou

Well, the only problem with THAT is that back in 2010 whateveritwas there were like at least 20 threads going before, during, and after. This was all before all the big streamed matchups by the pros AND there was real blood in the water. I was told over 800 tuned in to the stream.

Lou Figueroa
ah, good times, lol
