Memorial Day

On Memorial Day I always attend memorial services after its over I " patrol the brass from the honor guard " and give it to the little kids and any adults who it may mean something special to .
Today it was a gentleman from Europe who is touring the USA on his motorcycle he really appreciated the gesture .

The other folks that are forgotten on Memorial Day are those who made it home. But came home missing arms, legs, eyesight, or have permanent injuries that effect life.

Plus those who served in the Vietnam War, and were exposed to super roundup know as Agent Orange. Call these service members ticking time bombs, some have problems, some will have problems, other just grow old and die normal deaths not Agent Orange related.

All in this print are united now...Easy Company, band of brothers.

Cool print.
I have one on my wall...signed by a guy who used to hang at The Cue Ball, Salem, Oregon. Sgt. Don Malarkey. It was an honor to have known him. He passed on in 2017. Print is from a photo redone by an artist for Valor Studios...Don kneeling at the grave of his buddy, Skip Muck, who died in Bastogn, the surrounded by German forces...battle of the bulge. Patton broke through the German lines after a long siege. The cemetery is near Luxembourg, Belgium.
