This photo was sent to me by Vicki Wade who owns the Orange County APA.
On the far right, we have John 'Rocky' Rukuizas (Vicki's Grandfather).
The Wade family asked me to put this photo on one of my live streams which I still intend to do, but I thought it best that I post it here in the hopes of getting the other players identified.
On behalf of the Wade family, it would be helpful if anyone has any insight on who the other players are?
Merry Christmas All!
Carol Wade's message: "My Dad was my hero. His name was John but everyone called him Rocky. He was an amazing billiards player. He started teaching me to play pool when I was 5 years old. We would go to the local bars in Chicago to play every weekend. When I was 9 years old, I would get so excited when he was asked to play doubles and he chose me for his partner, even though I didn't play well. These challenges were always for money and he used to tell me not to tell mom since he always shared a little with me
My lips were sealed. On my 13th birthday, he gave me my first cue stick (I still have it) and 2 weeks later he died at 48 years young. I think about him every time I play. I still miss him dearly and know he is proud of me since I have continued his legacy passing this amazing sport on to his granddaughter Vicki who has taken it to the next level and even made this sport her living, owning the Orange County APA. I know you are proud of both of us Dad. Happy Father's Day! I love you. There is no date on this photo but I am guessing about 1940's. My dad is far right."
