Merry Widow Hoppe by Searing

This cue was my player for over 3 years and has seen thousands of games and countless action. After Dennis worked his magic, it appears to be in brand spanking new condition again.... Hell, it looks better than when I received it brand new in January 2008!

I assure you this has not been a closet queen by any stretch and is the epitome of a true "player"..... cause God knows I needed all the help I could get.

I have a buddy of mine that owns, Szambotis, Kersenbrocks, Tascarellas and all he plays is with his Searing. I am sure Chris will put some good miles on it ;)

If you want to know how to play with it.

Call. You won't be the first that improved instantly after talking to me about their Searing. You will thank me. If you are putting back a Scruggs I may just buy it! For that you won't thank me. There again you won't be the first!
No B.S.,

No thank you. I've never spoken to you to but this comes across a little arrogant, I must say. If I am wrong, I truly apologize. This may have been better as a PM...

Thank you everyone else for the incredible feedback. It is a privilege and an honor to own such a fine instrument.

Just saw your note...
You now understand!
Thank for the K's and the understanding of why I valued the Searing Half Joint the way I did.
Now get to a table with that beauty and enjoy it.

Arrogant?

I would have chosen a word like stupid or retarded. This has to be one of the oddest claims I've ever heard.

But back to the cue... nice pickup!!! And don't cave into Ross' when he asks you for it back (like 6 times a day every day)!

Lmfao agreed! Where does it come from?

However, Chris this is a beautiful cue and if people could speak to Dennis on the phone they would understand a lil better how excellent the cues are, and if they saw one in person it would really blow their mind and finally if they played with his new work it would really blow their mind because of how good they play/perform. Its a diff level!

Not at all

I have a way with cues. I know what certain cues do best and how to make them improve your game. Ask Sold tonight. I helped him with his 10K Searing and he has been extreemly grateful. I just like to hear people say man thanks alot.

I speak the truth. Call Dennis and ask. Excuse me for offering to help a collector enjoy their cue.

Like I said earlier, thanks but no thanks. I don't have to ask anyone. It's great you were able to buy his "10k Searing". This one is officially off the market.

I have plenty of money AND a Searing. One is much easier to replace than the other.

Please PM next time, this is not how I wanted this thread to turn. This is NOT the for sale section.

Apologies

Eric can't wait to see that thing. And truely I only wanted to help you enjoy that cue. I can definetly relate to ahving a player for life. And I am in a very very small group of people that can buy any cue they want that can make that statement.
Congrats,
Nick :)

Just spoke to him as a matter of fact...

How are YOU going to help ME enjoy my new cue? By invading my cue gallery thread with unwanted solicitation? You really don't know me, so all of this is a little much. Don't ya think?

I can tell you thing Nick, your very, very small group can not buy this cue... If you tried to impress me, it didn't work.

Surely a quote to remember for a long time...
Nothing like having a Searing Half Joint as your player.
It is even better for you with a Diamond - I only dream about that one!

Chris, what an awesome cue....I honestly don't know how a non-pointed cue could get any better. This Searing is way off the charts imo !!

Oh, Nick, thanks for the reminder of the old saying, how money can't buy good sense or class. :speechless:

No nick the idiot is you sir

No nick the idiot is you! Not sure if you mean well and cant talk/type or ya just are an idiot Nick. Anyway its how ya come off in your threads and posts which im not the only person of many who see this!

Point being a post of hey i have some info on your cue if you would like to know about it, Pm me please would have been ok but not that whole B.S. Story you started with. But i think that now others caught onto you ya tried to make it seem what its not. I think if it was what ya said it was meant to be your post would have stated just that lmfao

Enough said Nick please no one else try to ruin a awesome cues thread! Congrats Chris on a rare gem

The cue whisperer

Nick was only trying to help. He does have a way with cues and knows how to get the best play out of them. No need to be so sensitive about it.

Tommy,

You know I have respect for you so I went back and re-read Nick's comments. I "assumed" he wanted to buy the cue from the beginning. Not "help" me with the cue. I did not understand what "help" meant with a cue that was fresh from the Searing shop. He never elaborated on that point. He also never said he did NOT want to buy the cue. The only part that stuck out like a sore thumb was this comment...

I owe Nick an apology for misunderstanding his intent. If you send some info of what you mean by "help" in a PM, then maybe that will start a dialog.
