I hear that! If the economy slips back to where it was between '92 and '99, I friggin' quit! I might move to ... umm ... well hell. I don't know where I'll move. Australia?

Personally, I would like it to slip back. The budget was balanced, no deficit, and we had a surplus of cash, both state (CA) and federally. Now were in debt up to a$$, and its going up, and thats going to have to be paid by our children and grandchildren. Try Norway, rated the best place to live in the world.

Jim's bark is too loud. He may be full of it. I go with Eric.

Doesn't anyone remember those creepy Canadian kids who tried to start a Billiards TV channel and sell worthless stock during the Camel days? Russell Stuart, I think was the name of one. Their father was a stock scammer on the Vancouver market. Anyone else remember them?...
Yes. One of them was running the (major cue company) Tour the first year it started around here, and I entered the second or third event. I was the only entry. By some miracle, I happened to lose and the TD's road partner won the event. That tour is under better local management now.

At least one person around here went for the $15,000 investment that they were soliciting. All gone within a year, as I recall.

Shh. The Billiard Channel was the IPT's next big secret, that was going to be the killer IPO floated on the Vancouver exchange. Russell Stuart was going to be the co-comissioner in charge of Ho Aquisitions. Now it's dead, killed by the surprise results of the mid-term elections. Every one knows that no Ho deals are going to be allowed as long as a woman is the Speaker of the House. :-)

My question to Mr. Mark Trainer, if you think that pool players are good enough properties to invest in and you are so good at getting them in the door with high powere agencies then why can't you put together a tour that showcases them? Have you done ons single thing for the players beyond back them a little bit? Has any one of your stable seen an endorsement deal? How about Ralf Souquet, isn't he on your roster? He just booked about 8 hours of live TV coverage in front of some 4 million folks and who knows how many thousands throught the internet. Where were the logos and patches from fortune 500 companies that should have been plastered on him??? Inquiring minds want to know what you have done for the players lately? Or is this just a happy "give Kev a chance" moment?

Oh yeah, I talked to him in Canada. He 'borrowed' one of my favorite pictures of me to use for the Billiard Channel and never gave it back.
