Met Ginky today!

My friends Sam and his wife Serena are good friends with George San Souci AKA Ginky. Sam called me up this afternoon and said Ginky had stopped by their place (only a block away from my place) and would I like to stop by and say hello, then go hit the local pub for some fun on the bar box. Needless to say I jumped on it, and I had a great time!

Ginky is a really nice down to earth kind of guy, and of course, he whooped my ass at both 8 ball and 9 ball. But hey, I had a great time and it was a real pleasure meeting him. :)

Sounds like a good day of pool. I used to play Ginky at Amsterdam Billiards in NYC when it was on the upper west side. As you say, he's a pretty cool guy.
 
Great story and Pics! These chance encounters have a way of sticking with you and putting a smile on your face for years to come.
 
Look at the Gingkster, always color-coordinated and looks good, no matter what he wears. Love the Yankee baseball cap and earphones. Most likely, knowing Ginky, the earphones are Dr. Dre, which is the style right now to wear earphones around one's neck. He is always dressed to the nines, in style.

He also looks good as a blond, as depicted below! :cool: ;)

It is nice to see Ginky out and about. He's always been one of the politest player I've ever met, even in the heat of the battle. :)

No those aren't Dre 'Beats', just normal wrap around headphones. He wears these a lot.

Tsk, tsk. Dr. Dre headphones are what's happening today. I checked 'em out at Best Buy, but for 300 bucks, I passed. I didn't need the noise-cancelling system, but I would have chosen red if I got 'em. :D

I have Dre Beats, they work good and worth the money. I'm just saying his are different.
