I just saw an ad in the for sale section for a new Meucci cue $3995.00. 90 days to build it.
The price must be a typo.
Would anyone really spend $3995 for a new Meucci?
Has the world gone mad?

If it comes with a free Dale Perry cue it could be a killer deal you may not want to miss

I just looked for images of that cue and...

Anyone who spends $4000 on that cue deserves to be parted from their money...

It's a good deal....
....if it comes with a decent case...

...and there is $3,900 in the accessory pocket

There's now another thread for yet another "named" Meucci cue special run, for some large price.
I just mumbled "hell no" under my breath and moved on...

Not many meucci's I'd give more than 200 for, and then only resale to league players.

Meucci cue

Obviously, that was a misprint...the ad should have read $39.95...!!!
Anything more for the POS would be ridiculous...the guy is a crook and a cheat.

ok, maybe this whipper snapper missed something.
I have always been under the impression that these are good cues with play or feel being a personal characteristic. Now maybe not 4k but what's with the Walmat pricing you guys are giving it? custom cues fetch hefty prices and I see no reason what a meucci "who i have always seen with good materials in it" won't do the same. So what gives

Mostly from people who are old is where the dislike is from. In the 80's and early 90's meucci cues were pretty popular. Quality was pretty good, other than ferrules which tended to chip over time. Cues played well. Then they went to the bigger logo, and shortly after that the quality started going down hill. That lasted for a number of years.

I do think Bob has gotten more involved again, and seems that quality is rising again.

The other one is listed for $2000

It's in the AZB for sale section.
I thought maybe it was a mistake on the price
$395 ?
$995 ?
But $3995 just did not look right for a Meucci.

The casino queen he has listed for $2000 and it says it's part of the casino series, but funny though since the casino series on Meucci's website all retail for between 1045-1145...which is much more reasonable.

If you page down far enough, it's starts out by "Looking for a Gambler Cue."

On February 13th....

Still way too much for a production cue, 1k+ range will land a sweet custom cue. To each their own :)

better deal!

I think the $10,000 Jacoby on sale for $7000 in the F/S section is a way better deal if we're gonna start throwing money around.
