Meucci collection

Back in the day, long before internet forums, when people actually met up at the pool room and played pool, everyone had a Meucci. The first cue I bought for myself was a Meucci Sneaky Pete for $181 if I remember correctly. My dad had an old European edition w/ two shafts (I still have it). I had friends with higher end/fancier models.

I never played with one of their cues when the production declined, but I'm liking the looks of some of their new stuff. Their LD shafts don't hold a candle to a predator -- but my friend had a Meucci paired with a 314 that really hit nice. I see that Dennis Hatch uses that combination too.

I can remember the old ESPN Meucci commercial with all of the champions (and I mean ALL) are standing there saying in chorus, "Because sooner, or later, it's going to HAVE to be a MEUCCI", haha.....

I'd like to see him come out with some cool new designs and bring back that old quality and I'd buy another. If he had a specific Buddy Hall model, at a reasonable price I'd be the first in line.

There is a new Buddy Hall cue, look it up, it is a beauty

Can you give any information on the bottom cue (from the top down picture), the furthest right cue (on the left to right picture)? I bought one about 18 months ago and is the cue I'm using currently. Love the feel of it. Curious on when it was made, value, anything else. Thanks!

That is the 97-12, the one that I own is the prototype and my shooter.

My Meucci collection just multiplied. Just received 4 Meucci cues through Fedex with 10 shafts. Thank you Tate. I will be sending you something real soon.

Diamond Jack...Was that the prince, or the sultan? The prince (the sultan's younger brother) built a 'palatial' home, on 11 acres, in Vegas years ago. Apparently, while it was under construction, the sultan found out that his brother had used funds that were not his to use, and demanded that the estate be immediately sold. That estate ended up in the hands of Fatboy, who owned it for several years, completed construction, and sold it a few years ago. Within the main house, Eric had a master poolroom built, that was/is the envy of anybody who has ever seen it! Dozens of top pros have played in his poolroom!

Scott Lee ~ been there...seen it...played in it...simply amazing.
