Meucci first series of cues ?

"Cuemaker enjoying popularity of pool", man when will we see those words again?

...

I thought some of these marketing claims were pretty impressive.

"A BMC cue, properly cared for, will never warp and will outlast its owner"

...well, ok, that's pretty tame. Probably true of most cues.

'Most top pool players will not make hard "break" shots with their own cues [...]' "A shooter lucky enough to own one of my cues doesn't have to worry about knocking a tip off it or otherwise damaging it. There's just no way."

...well shit, my tip's popped off just from dropping it on the floor.

"He'll bang the tip of his cue on the concrete floor as hard as he can, repeatedly, just to demonstrate its comparative indestructibleness"

...I've lost 2 OB shafts giving them friendly love taps on the rails :P

I see that the QB-5 was $125 wholesale. retail was double as I paid $250 for my new QB-5 in probably 1974. Bought at Quality Billiards on West Colfax, Lakewood CO. Thanks for the wholesale sheet and cue brochure. Still have the cue.
