Meucci MO11

Congrats on a very nice find.:)
You could send pictures to Proficient Billiards
he has done repair work on Meucci cues.
I'll send pm with more info.

meucci

Proficient might be able to help, I have seen some great repair work from them. It cant hurt no matter what anyone say's.

the sleeve cannot be repaired period end of story. The ring work can be fixed and a new shaft can be made, but the sleeve will never be repaired. Darren from meucci saw the pictures of the cue already and said the sleeve cannot be repaired.

He may not be able to or want to but someone could fix it or make a new one (@ great expense). I really dont care what Darren say's.

Hey QClub...what's up? You must think Darrin is the only guy that can fix a cue. By looking at a lousy picture, you can't tell what a cue needs.

For real...Darrin doesn't have time for this nonsense. He has all those cues that were sent out that should of been marked factory 2nd. Lots of cues coming out of that factory lately with defects. A matter of fact, I just sent a box of new cues back to Meucci because of defects.

I'd bet my house that Bob can fix it if he wanted to.

Don't rely on what anybody other than a Meucci restoration expert with the cue in his hands tells you. Surely it is a treasure.

Send it to Erwin.

I wouldn't bother Espiritu with it. Erwin was shop foreman at Meucci, he has the know-how, and Meucci materials and parts.

As for my amateur opinion, anything can be restored/reproduced. It's only a matter of how far one wishes to go to accomplish it and finding the person who is able and willing to do it.

The cue is definitely worth putting into the hands of the best Meucci repair/restoration expert available. AFAIK that is Erwin.

The other guy who I think can restore it is Ryan, RAT cues, Meuller's - he doesn't seem to be shy about taking on difficult Meucci projects.

It's a very seldom seen cue. Since you bought it inexpensively, I still think you'll come out OK moneywise after repairs if you decide to sell it, but generally restorations of cues like this are done for love, not profit.

You dont want to buy that cue. It has sleeve separation issues and that can never be repaired.

It is people like you that think they know it all and don't have a F'ing clue. You such a pansy to PM me say "Bob or nobody can fix the sleeve on that cue. The sleeve is separating. The rings can be fixed, but the sleeve can never be fixed. Dont make statements you know nothing about.'' You my friend do not have a clue to what you are talking about. To top it off after send this rude message you block me from responding with a PM. Your such a DIP SHIT

And to top it off you have a whole 9 post on here which 8 are about football and one you being a MR. know it all that don't know shit. Figure it out buddy, this is a billiards forum not a Football forum!

It also seems that in every single one of you 9 post that you don't know how to keep your mouth shut. You seem to be an internet bully, we don't like your kind here son!

I would try to get a hold of Bob personally it see what he says not Darren at the factory...Bob might take it on as a personal project (he's been known to do that). Should he decide not to then Erwin...after that it's anyone's guess. Ryan or Scott Sherbine were mentioned and can resurrect the dead.

Nice cue though...Good Luck!

Ditto! Proficient did my 95-17 (the newer version of the OL-1) and Proficient did ONE HELLUVA job on it. It was done right before I bought it from Marcus on here, and it was flawless. The clear was the best job I've ever seen on a cue that was in my hands. I'm not sure if he fixed the notched diamonds or not but I've never seen a Meucci with all the diamonds perfect with no imperfections so I assume they did.

Ryan would be my 2nd choice to Proficient (can't go wrong with either IMHO)

Dude quit it! We heard enough when you were posting under QClub. For some reason you have it out for this dude that owns the cue, he must have beat you to it or something? You sure have spent a lot of posts in this thread telling him he's crazy and Darren at Meucci is the "end all be all" of fixing cues. I wouldn't let Meucci touch ANYTHING I own anymore.

It's QClub's alter ego.

I agree. Can't hurt to try and if not contact Proficient or Ryan at RAT/Mueller.
