WTB Meucci weight bolts for a 97-12 Meucci logo cue , the standard ones that are off the web site are alittle to wide, Meucci has yet to get back with me, (2 emails spaced a week apart now been two weeks since last email no response) so guys and gals anybody know if Meucci has a different size (width) of weight bolt?

Thankyou Kennan

MEUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCI has used at LEAST two (and prolly more) weight bolts.

Good luck

I went through the same ordeal. I could have snail mailed the message and gotten it back faster. I decided to call and they said to email them pictures of the cue so they can decide what weight bolt it needed.

I had already told them the model and year of the cue and apparently they still needed pictures to tell me what bolt.

After visiting 6 different hardware stores, 3 hours of internet research I was able to half-heartedly conclude that my 9701 (or M-1 depending on your resources) It's the meucci "sneaky pete", uses a 5/8" 11 thread bolt. I was able to pick up a "set screw" for $1.80 at a local machine shop.

At first I could only get about 3 thread into the insert before it started to bind. This made me think that it was not the correct size. So one more hour of refined research on the internet and I felt 92% confident that I did indeed have the right size. So I got an 8mm T-handle allen wrench and cranked on it. It did go in properly with the help of my kung fu grip.

I hope this helps someone else avoid much wasted time that a mildly competent phone technician should have been able to answer in 10 seconds. Sorry Meucci not too happy with your help or service.
