Michigan's Best

Someone want to guess Billy Pinion III's speed? He shot plenty good last year at the SBE, VNEA and BCAPL events. Never seen him on a "big" table though. Would guess he's pretty good on one of them too!

Richie and Ronnie

Brandon Ashcraft plays pretty sporty

Having lived in the dreaded state of Michigan from 96 to 06 while employed with Chrysler I would have to say that I knew Richie from STL before I met Ronnie. But having the pleasure of hanging out at Hall of Fame Billiards I think Ronnie plays better than Richie Rich. John Binion also hung out there. But I would have to rate him behind R and R, barely.

On any given Friday night !!!!.

Ronnie walked on water at 13 and Mound and John was right behind him but Richie was out in the woods playing probably in a garage or house somewhere waiting for his chance to snap them both off.

IMO.
Wiseman
Richardson/Binion coin toss:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Everyone has their opinion

Yes, I agree Ronnie, Richie, those two have definately matched up a lot! Ronnie puts his time in and seems to come out ahead over Richie. As far as girl players: Alice Rim has a lot of heart and went pro, and speaking of Richie Ive seen his girl Jennifer (Prost? spelling) whoop on the girls and the guys when she was around then dont know where she went or what happened to her, but she was beautiful to watch!

He is a decent player but tends to choke. He did win something in Vegas at last years APA. Don't remember what it was.

For some reason he is listed as a 8 handicap in the BCA. Can't figure that one out. He is son the Hustlin team.

How about Jason Lynch for Trick Shots?

this thread hasn't had alot of attention lately, but I could name quite a few:

Bart Goode
Ken Brisbon
Curtis Thornton
greg thornton
Bruce Wolfe
lee lombaria
Rick schroder

I'm not sure if I should name anymore? non of these guys are unknown around here

by the way, bruce goodwin is still around-he owns a pool hall in alpena, mi and still plays good!

JI thought Cornbread Red had a place down in Columbus,OH but I might be mistaken.

Cornbread never had a place here in Columbus. You are thinking of Cornfed Red's. It was just the name of a pool hall, Cornbread had nothing to do with it. Not to mention that this place is now shut down.

I think Billy Burge's daughter ownes...The Rack...now..

I cant believe no one has mentioned Irene Henry yet or her son Joe, they may not be the best but they deserve mention

how bout some ladies? lonette fox dawn fitel and julie melmon

Sad to see Dawn Fital on this list considering events that have happened since this thread was started.

Jayme Goodwin would probably still be one of the best players in the state if he cared to play a lot. When I lived in Battle Creek for one year ('99-00), I saw him play some great pool at the Billiard Cafe- sad to hear it is now just a bar
